Ideas2007: Creativity Beyond Borders The Idea2007 Competition Ideas2007 is hosting an international competition for anyone between the ages of 20-35 years from any nationality or background, who can produce an original idea on improving life through the creative process in the Islamic world. The theme of the competition will be “Modern Conceptual Design in the Middle East”. The subjects covered are: Graphic Design, Advertising and Architecture. Competition dates will be announced online. All work has to be submitted electronically in low resolution for print format in TIFF or JPEG by the closing date and no further consideration will be given to late submissions. Short-listed entries will then be required to submit their work on CD in high resolution format. A panel of judges composed of communication experts, designers, photographers, architects and educators will decide on the winners. The 20 winning entrants will be invited to the conference as guests of Ideas2007 and given platform recognition. There may also be an exhibition of some of the best works during the time of the conference, providing the winners with exposure. All winning entries will be chosen strictly on competitive merit and the judges decisions will be final.
