Erica Clark

Erica Clark is Senior Vice President, International Initiatives, at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. As founder and head of the International Initiatives department, she develops programs and exchanges that promote greater awareness of the importance of design and design education in many arenas. These efforts have resulted in Art Center being the first design school to receive official UN Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) status. Ms. Clark also created the biennial Art Center Design Conference series, launched in 2004. The Conferences explore the intersections between design, science, business, the arts, and technology, and feature internationally renowned speakers and audience alike.

In addition, Ms. Clark has led a consultation team developing curriculum for a new design school in Mexico City; created the first design-based exchange with the renowned European business school, INSEAD; and led feasibility studies for Art Center programs in Tokyo and Barcelona.

Before coming to Art Center, Ms. Clark was Director of Development at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA) for 12 years. In addition to overseeing all fundraising activities, her work gave her extensive experience in South America, Europe, and Asia.
